Arendal Vintners AS (AV) is a merchant of fine wines and an agent representing foreign wine makers in the Norwegian market. For collectors AV advises in wine investment and does valuations and guidance in acquisition and sales processes. In addition AV provides a wine list management service for selected restaurants and wine bars, thus securing a wider service whiteout violating their cash flows. AV Provenance provides storage according to HKQAA standards and does auditing of professional storage facilities. 

Producers

Arendal Vintners is an agent representing international wine makers in the regulated Norwegian market. Sales to consumer happen through our monopolized system. AV is supporting in sales, marketing, storage and logistics, based on standardized agreements within the trade. The monopoly purchases lots based on issuing tenders. As representative, AV takes a proactive role in these processes.

The Norwegian Horeca market is not part of the monopoly system, and therefor approached differently. Our wine list management is a unique service  - which is used in addition to our continuous sales and marketing efforts.  

Collectors

We advise clients in wine investment, and share our experience in valuations and guidance in acquisition and sales processes. Further, we offer special import of wines/vintages/formats not found on Vinmonopolet.  For Norwegian clients we also advice on sales to foreign customers and in acquisition both from foreign and domestic sources (Vinmonopolet and the national auctions).  

Restaurants

Except for normal sales, we provide a wine list management service for selected restaurants, wine bars etc. It secures a wider selection without violating cash flows. We also have a weekly update were we try to compile an interesting selection in terms of relevance and price.  These services are additional to our assortment of cellars we are representing, and based on network in the international trade.  

The Wine Vault

Arendal Vintners provide storage services according to HKQAA standards. We do it by representing a Scandinavian facility in the Norwegian market. It is bonded, until goods are taken out for sales, consumption or other storage. When shipped outside Scandinavia to other bonded cellars - there will be no public taxes imposed. The storage facility is thus in the same category as we know them from the international wine trade. Scandinavia is a stable and secure environment for storage.
